NICK TODORAN, LCSW
Nick began his formal work in the field of mental health and social services in 2012 and has a wide range of experience working with individuals, families and Veterans through employment at such organizations as Community Action of Northeast Indiana (now Brightpoint), Volunteers of America, Northeastern Center, Bowen Center, and Parkview Health. Following in the footsteps of his late Grandfather and renown Social Worker, Jerome Henry, Sr., Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2009 (IPFW) followed by a Master of Social Work degree in 2014 (IUPUI).
True to his roots within the social work profession, Nick enjoys working with a wide variety of individuals including various ages, backgrounds and situations and is especially drawn to working with adolescents and young adults. He has experience working with mood disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety, bipolar), traumas, substance use disorders and marital/relationship difficulties. He adheres to a strong belief that people generally have the solutions to their own problems but sometimes require help rediscovering their deeply held strengths, talents and abilities needed to solve these problems and that working to restore self-confidence and sense of purpose is often a very important part of this process.
